Community Programs

s.p.a.c.e. has a special interest in providing affordable, dynamic and regular programs specifically for people in the community with disabilitites. At present our s.p.a.c.e specific programs are featured on weekday afternoons. Our organisation is non disability specific meaning that we take on anyone who is interested in being part of our community centre. Come one come all and he who comes we will support.

Please understand that s.p.a.c.e is a work in progress. We are non government funded and therefore all our renovations are paid for through fundraising. We are NOT disability accessible at present. We hope to be in the very near future. We do our best at all times to cater to all persons. So, please, if you have concerns about your ability to access the facility please call s.p.a.c.e Executive Director Alissa Phillips on 0403 747 228. She will be able to answer and questions about any concerns you might have.

The renovations have begun!!! It wouldn't be a space renovation without a few hiccups though. Since the floods regulations have been altered concerning septic tanks in brisbane. This has caused some strife for us and our loyal architect karen and s.p.a.c.e director terry are working quick smart to come up with an alternative solution.
