At SPACE our primary financial challenge is securing the initial funding for the commercial development of hall. To offset the associated costs of initial development strategic alliances have been formed with Arkhefield Architects and McCullough Robertson lawyer who have provided their services on a pro-bono basis.
Arkhefield Architecture, in particular Karen Ognibene, have been instrumental in redesigning the renorvations for the SPACE Hall. No structural changes are needed, we do hope however, to alter the premise so as to cater for the three faceted model of service. (Please see 'The Hall' for conceptual designs. The alterations at the hall dominate our funding requirements. Once the hall is complete future funding will be minimal.
One of the keys to success of SPACE is the localisation of services. Once the initial centre, Kenmore Space, is self sustaining it is envisaged that the SPACE concept will be replicated at another site within the greater Brisbane region within the third year of operations. This development of the project will require additional funding. |
